We didn’t have the opportunity to go on vacations until probably last year. Affordability is one of the big things for us, being able to afford a vacation. We had an opportunity last year and we saw it and we said, "Hey, let’s do it" because we can start taking a vacation, start taking the time.

After being an owner for the first year, I was ready to make my first vacation but I was uncertain on some details. I called the 1-800 number and one of the vacation counselors spent 30 – 45 minutes on the phone with me going over details that I should have remembered that were in the book. She said, "If you have any questions whatsoever, call and let us know and we’ll be glad to spend some time and help you with your questions." That told me right then that we had made the right decision on joining the Bluegreen program. That meant a lot to me.

The Lodge Alley Inn at Charleston is a truly delightful location. Its location is perfect, whether you visit in summer or winter. The number of restaurants within walking distance is hard to beat. The staff is outstanding. Keep it up! Thanks.

We have been to many resorts other than Bluegreen and none can compare to yours. We love our Bluegreen timeshare. We have never been disappointed with any of them (resorts). We do feel the ones you originated and built yourselves are the very best and cleanest ever. You supply more with the units than anyone else. Our favorite is [Bluegreen Wilderness Club] for everything. You just can't compare it to any other. We have been to almost all of Bluegreen’s resorts and have really enjoyed them all. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

Since becoming Bluegreen members, our vacation experiences have expanded to many great locations like Florida’s west coast and Pensacola waters and of course Orlando. It makes great vacations affordable with top-notch accommodations, and the point system is a great way to keep track of your availability for future trips. The reservations people have been outstanding in setting up trips and other questions you might have. All of the personnel at all locations have been very helpful and accommodating. We were so impressed with the organization that we bought stock in the company, and I might add that it is doing very well. Keep up the good work.

As older folks, we were looking for a beautiful and peaceful setting but when you throw in the comfort of the units, the kindness of the staff and then a drive though the Smoky Mountains after an enormous rain and see the streams all overflowing and rushing down the mountains, it is breathtakingly beautiful. You just park the car and savor the beauty. Truly moments to treasure for a lifetime and we will do just that!

We've been owners for about four years now. We have been to Myrtle Beach, Tennessee (twice), Michigan, Wisconsin and Virginia. We have enjoyed all the stays within the last four years. All the staff of Bluegreen have been very helpful (from reservations to the actual stays). We love it!

During our purchase experience at The Fountains resort in Orlando, we were really impressed by the dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm of the resort staff and sales team. We have just returned home from a delightful stay at [BLUEGREEN WILDERNESS CLUB], Ridgedale, MO. This was our first time there and we were enchanted with the twinkling lights of Christmas across the valleys and hillside views from our lovely lodge unit.
We were surprised with gifts of two wine glasses and chocolates to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were fortunate in meeting Tony Orlando during our yummy lunch at the Top Of The Rock restaurant, and would you believe he invited us to be his guests at his famous Christmas show of 'Santa & Me'. This will be a long remembered anniversary on another Bluegreen adventure.
Now we are looking forward to a week, the last of January, at GRAND VILLAS at WORLD GOLF VILLAGE. St. Augustine, FL. We own at FALLS VILLAGE, Branson, MO, and have either been or sent our children and friends to these other Bluegreen properties during the past seven years of our membership: LANDMARK HOLIDAY BEACH RESORT and OCEAN TOWERS BEACH CLUB in Panama City Beach, FL; RESORT SIXTY-SIX, Holmes Beach, FL; PLAYERS CLUB, Hilton Head, S.C.; LAUREL CREST, Pigeon Forge, TN and now we've scheduled for our grandson and wife to go to PONO KAI RESORT, Kauai, HI during the college spring break in March 2005!
It has been great fun going to new places, meeting new people, many who have become friends that keep up with each other by email. Our thanks to BLUEGREEN FOR OPENING UP A WHOLE NEW WORLD OF ADVENTURE in our Senior Years of Life.

We always enjoy our vacations at Laurel Crest in Pigeon Forge, TN. The best part is that I don't have to do a lot of packing since everything we could need is provided for our stay. Laurel Crest is close to shopping, fun places to eat, golf courses, and the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. A fun day trip to the Vanderbilt Mansion has been one of the special events we share with friends we bring along to stay with us at Laurel Crest. Accommodations and service have always been top notch at Laurel Crest, where we have vacationed for several years. We are looking forward to bringing our grandchildren to one of our favorite vacation spots.

As an owner of two different vacation clubs, we have been greatly pleased with our Bluegreen membership. Every resort we have visited has been a vacation treasure. From MountainLoft in Gatlinburg to the Casa del Mar, everyone has been so pleasant and accommodating. From the customer service people that help you make your reservations, to the lovely people who check you in at the resort, (everyone) goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

We retired about two years ago. Since that time, we have visited eight Bluegreen resorts and have reservations in Aruba in April. We have been extremely pleased with the ease we have been able to use our points. Our last trip was to [Bluegreen Wilderness Club]. It was fabulous! We were there in the fall and enjoyed the experience! We are looking forward to going back in warmer weather to be able to enjoy the beautiful lake more. There are tons of things to do in nearby Branson. We hope to take our family back with us some day. We want to get around to every resort in the Bluegreen family. So far all of our experiences have been great.

Our experiences with Bluegreen have always been pleasant. We have stayed at Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville, VA and Solara Surfside in Miami Beach, FL. The valet services (Jorge) and couriers at Solara are always pleasant. We know the attendants by name (George and Claudia) and they know our names. We get a phone call to make sure that our check-in was smooth and that everything is comfortable during our stay. We look forward to going back each time. In fact, we have traveled now more than ever before since becoming club owners.

My husband and I recently bought into the Bluegreen experience! We are thrilled!! We stayed at the World Golf Village in St Augustine for our anniversary and had a wonderful time! The staff was very attentive and the villas were just beautiful. I feel we have made a life choice that will pay for itself over the coming years. Ted, my husband, is a retired Fire Captain from the L.A area and now he can enjoy our little mini-vacations all the time! Thank you Bluegreen!!

We visited MountainLoft in Gatlinburg, TN in October. We appreciated the friendly welcome and the packet of information regarding things to do. I believe the best things about our week there were the activities scheduled for us. We participated in a welcome event, a pancake breakfast, a fried chicken dinner with some great entertainment, and we also listened to a very good storyteller. All of this was so reasonably priced and all we had to do was sign up and show up. Even though we spent many hours sightseeing and enjoying the Smoky Mountains, we looked forward to the activities that were scheduled for us.

Ron and I recently became members, which made us really feel special when we stayed at the resort. Now our son and his family are members, too. I really appreciate this opportunity to express our gratitude to The Players Club in Hilton Head, SC. Last January, my husband and the National Guard Transportation Unit were activated for deployment to the Middle East. They spent three months in Fort Stewart, GA going through extensive training in preparation for their tour in Iraq. During those three months, they received weekend passes to spend time with their families. My husband and I wanted to find a quiet place in lieu of the typical motel hotels. I contacted Bluegreen Reservations and there was an opening for the first weekend he received a pass. The resort was very quiet that time of year and the staff was very friendly and helpful. On the second weekend pass we were not so lucky to find an opening there. I contacted the resort and spoke with the manager that we had met on our first visit. He knew of our situation and that we only had a little time left to spend together and was very gracious in finding us a room there at the resort. Our time together over that three months before our unit left for Iraq on March 17th was relaxing and gave us time to focus on each other and to enjoy our last few weekends. My husband and the unit will hopefully be returning home next March. We again hope to visit The Players Club when they return home. Again, a warm thanks to The Players Club staff.
